Newlsetter

My home pottery studio is complete and this is really the first time in over 30  years of doing pottery that I've been able to dedicate so much time to my creative side.  It's quite a change from selling beautiful clothes and talking to people everyday to sitting in my studio, getting dirty and wearing overalls instead of cashmere!  Believe me, there's always a cashmere sweater close by in case I get cold, but I just have to be a little more careful now.

I spent the end of November through Christmas day in Japan, soaking in the fabulous sites, eating incredible food and being inspired again and again to make more work in 2026. I can only aspire to make work that gives others the same feeling that I get every time I'm surrounded by the simplicity and beauty of Japanese art and craft, which is, to me, unmatched.

After being a social media hold-out for many years, I finally started an instagram account @keiuceramics.  This feels like a good time to get my work out there and share it in an easy way. Currently, you can buy my pieces at Studio RA in Ballard, with more stockists to come this year.  Thanks for your support and I look forward to hearing from you!

Warmly,

Tina
