‘Mustard Series’ Small Bowl
Made with a dark stoneware clay and dipped in an off-white glaze with glaze crawl detail inside. This is lovingly called “Mustard Series” based on a friend’s description of my use of a squeeze bottle to apply the glaze detail.
5.25 in. diam. x 2.5 in. high
Dishwasher, microwave and food safe. I prefer to clean by hand.
During the firing process, inconsistencies emerge which give each piece a unique and individual quality. These subtle variances in texture, size and color offer an analog warmth and life that is very much welcome in an increasingly digital world. To me, there is a beauty in these imperfections that come with something handmade.
